Endurance rule changes for 2024
The following items changed between 2023 and 2024 for the endurance rules:
• Added AMA membership notice.
• Increase of Open Mini displacement limit for 2-valve air-cooled four stroke engines to 230cc to allow the KLX 230 and CRF230.
• Adjusted Formula Middleweight rules to simplify regulations and expand two-stroke displacement limit to 75cc and set four-stroke air cooled displacement at 175cc max regardless of the head configuration.
• Removed DOT helmets from the allowed list and updated the Snell helmet requirement to Snell 2015 or newer.
• Added requirement for brake caliper bolts to be wired to match sprint racing and MotoAmerica requirements.
• Clarified race number size and placement.
Sprint rule changes for 2024
The following items changed between 2023 and 2024 for the sprint race rules:
• Added AMA membership notice.
• Removed bracket race classes and the Women’s Open class.
• Added class rules for Lightweight Superbike
• Added Clubman class and changed “Beginner” to “Novice”
• Added GP races for Clubman and Open Mini to the schedule
• Adjusted Open Mini class limit to 230cc for air-cooled 2-valve motorcycles to allow the KLX 230 and CRF230.
• Adjusted Formula Middleweight rules to simplify regulations and expand two-stroke displacement limit to 75cc and set four-stroke air cooled displacement at 175cc max regardless of the head configuration.
• Changed Street 125 class restrictions to match MotoAmerica Street GP as closely as possible.
• Added MotoAmerica Mini Cup classes (Section 3.5)
• Added technical requirement for brake caliper bolts to be wired to meet MotoAmerica standards.
• Updated race number requirements to match MotoAmerica and for clarity.
• Removed DOT helmets from the allowed helmet list and updated Snell helmet requirement to Snell 2015 or later.
• Reordered and reworded the following sections for clarity:

◦ Eliminated section 5.3 as superfluous
